How Pre IP helps Supporters

Pre IP is an abbreviation for “Pre (Registered) Intelligent Property” and it is a third-party certificate that certifies the authenticity of the content registered by Researchers/Entrepreneurs and Facilitators on UNIPLAT even before a legal patent or any other legal registration is issued. This certification arrangement is made to ensure Supporters donate to authentic content. 

By utilizing the blockchain's smart contract technology, Supporters can also check the timestamp of "when" the content is registered.

To check the timestamp of research content, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the My Lab page of the Researcher/Entrepreneur or Facilitator whose content you want to check.
2. Click the 'Pre IP' tab.
3. Click on the relevant content.
4. On the Pre IP Details page, click the ”Blockchain URL” on the top right.
5. Check the time when the content is registered on the blockchain.
